I found this while trolling the AP wire this morning. This is Kanye West in reference to his appearance at the upcoming "NFL Kickoff" celebration.
"I don't want to detract from the show at all, because it's entertainment, and a lot of times, in a time of need, we need entertainment to lift people's spirits," West said Tuesday at a news conference to promote Thursday's free concert at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't part of Friday's benefit "entertainment"? There was music there, wasn't thre? Wasn't it a time of need last Friday? Didn't people's spirits need to be lifted on Friday?
How can he go out and make ridiculous comments one day and claim that they are unnecessary a few days later at a "similar" event...a concert that was part "entertainment"?
The guy needs to put his foot in his mouth very soon!

Late Registration is tight as hell. Touch the sky is mad dope son. He can put his foot in his mouf, as long as he puts them beats in that 808. He got away from his signature sound, which was a risk because the sped up sample is what he was known for, like on "through the wire".

But with this release he will take the crown as the preeminent producer in hip hop, buy Common's new CD, Be. He saved his best beats for his boy Common. Like "go" or "testify". He doesnt discriminate either, hes got that ugly " body is a wonderland" mo'fucker John Mayer singing backgrounds on "go" and the deuche bag from that Maroon Crap band on his new record. Both ugly white honkies, and he still made them joints hot with ugly white people on 'em. Magic!
In a previous comment I called Adam Levine from Maroon 5 a "deuche bag" when in fact he is a DOUCHE BAG. I apologize for the mispelling. In fact he maybe Aaron Levine, I dont know. I do know heis a baggadouche. Douche is the french word for shower, I know I was there. When I was there I douched at least once a day.

Technically hes not a musician, more of a hip hop mogul. I dont think he plays any instruments, but he can sample like the dickens. It was late and I was bored at work. If the hurricane would have hit Miami we wouldnt be having this conversation, it would have wiped out the MTV Video awards and all the shitty artists in attendance. Those peices of crap need to die, starting with Sean Combs.
